| Comp Site Location and Directions
ok guys, here is where it is and how to get there, pretty simple really. Head West out of town twords missoula, HWY 12 WEST, 5 miles out of town at the base of mcdonald pass, " aka, rocky mountains " turn left onto the Rimini Road. There will be a red, white and blue sign that reads, MSD Scale MEET, with a arrow. 5 miles up that road you will see another sign that says, MSD scale meet parking, you are at the site. The area is USFS ground, it is the mini ha ha turn off and snow mobile park area. Please park in a ORDERLY fashion on the left side of the road in the parking lot, we are a little short on space, so please car-pool if you can. for those who were here last year, it is a couple miles further in. here are some pics from the site: How's the comp site? Here is Google map of comp site per Ben's Directions. These are from the Motel 6 that most of us are staying at. Ben or Slobin, please check and make sure that these are correct. I beleive in the end address at the top, Google gives the GPS lat and longitude. I will update if this needs corrections. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...,0.319977&z=12 Last edited by THnCS; 05-13-2008 at 12:56 PM. |
