| Southern Arizona Winter Shoot-out 2009 Southern Arizona Radio Control Crawler Association Proudly Presents Southern Arizona Winter Shoot-out 2009 At Gates Pass Let's see how good everyone really is on high traction technical courses. There will be three classes, 1.9, 2.2 And Super!! This will be a shoot-out style event. There will be 5 courses running continously all day Saturday for the 2.2's then @ approx 4 pm we wil take the top 5 of the day and run them in a final round to see who is the top three 2.2 drivers. And Sunday we will start the 1.9's in the morning then depending on how many 1.9's we have we will start the supers at about noon. Comp Schedule is as follows: Check-in and tech is on Friday January 30th between 12pm and 5:30pm at the site. January, 31st 2009 Drivers Meeting at 7am on site Competition begins at 8:15am 2.2 Finals round begins 4PM Febuary, 1st 2009 1.9 Competition begins 8:30AM 1.9 Finals Round begins approx 11am Super Competition begins immmediately after 1.9 Finals Super Finals Round begins approx 3pm Awards Presentation @ approx 4pm There is camping the Gilbert Gray Campground approx 3 mile west of Gate Pass Lookout. Campground info can be found here Also there are several Hotels along the I-10 frontage Road with a few miles. The Fee's are as follows: Single Class Entry $30.00 2 Class Entry Additional $10.00 3 Class Entry Additional $20.00 Expamle if you decide to run in all three classes your total fee's will be $50, but if you want to run in 2 classes then your total fee's are $40. These fee's will get your T-shirt and a killer Swag bag upon Check-in. There will be cool giveaways during the day on Saturday. The Prizes and Giveaways Are Provided By: And A Couple Pics of the Location Registration is on Event Brite, I think most of you know how that works, however there will be three choices of tickets. There is a Single Class Ticket, a 2 Class Ticket and Finally a 3 Class Ticket, just chose which will be best for you. | Camping?
My Wife and kids have decided not to attend this one so I will be solo so if anyone would like to travel down to tucson with me and stay at the campground I have a 22ft toy hauler that has two queen beds and a couch and dinet that turn into two twin beds or we could split hotel cost? shoot me a pm if interested. I've also got room for 6 more in the Suburban for the ride down if you want to carpool. -Brian |

Looks like I am out of room in the trailer now but still have room for 2 more in the Suburban if anyone wants to pitch a tent or sleep in the back of the Suburban down south, let me know.

| campground info
i talked to the campground director the fees are: $20.00 per night for campers and toy haulers. $10.00 per night for tents. there is water sources and every camper spot has 30 amp electric hookup. no pryor registration is done. cash or check when you get there and sign in. the campground is 3 miles from the comp site. check out is 11 am. oh yea there are restrooms and a dump station. if you need more info 520-877-6000 and they can help you. |

Nice!! As Giveaways, looks like we will have some Tube Chassis, Batteries, Wheel Weight systems, Comp Chassis, Axles Stands and Gift Certificates!!!!!! Enough Prizes for Everyone!! I think we will even have a couple 1:1 Rock Crawlers on display by one of the local Clubs, the Arizona Undertakers!!! So Come on Guys lets get signed up and registered!!
