Default quick comp question about tires

is it leagal to use tire prep on the tires of the crawler for more traction? thanks

Nope. You must keep all the mud and debris on your tires before competing

But as mentioned...You can do just about anything you want to your tires

It's actually up to the event organizers. So, you might want to ask ahead of time.

Examples: we do not allow any traction additives on our manmade courses. You may clean the tires, but can not spray glue them ...

Or, if the comp was in a state park, the rangers might not like tire gunk all over the rocks ....
