What's the weather like in Vegas mid-January?

PinchFlat 12-12-2005 09:07 AM

could be ice cold and if the wind starts to blow even colder... but it als could be 50 deg... I have been there (Bootleg Canyon) in January when it was 55deg and when it has been 20 deg.

sean_lv_crawler 12-12-2005 09:12 AM

There also wont be any snow.

So you guys are allowing full on rear steer in the 2.2 class?

That is one of my favorite things of that class is dealing with the lack of rear steer.

Yeah... we put it up for a club vote and it passed 2/3 to 1/3. I personaly voted for no full rear steer... and I most likely won't ever hook mine it up. I guess I could overrule the vote...HEHEHEHEHE

That would be awesome if you could make it out!!

Post up if you are coming, and what class you will be running in. So I can have the scoresheets all ready to go for the comp. I will then randomly draw the names out of a hat for the driving order.

Joe Mauma 12-12-2005 02:15 PM

Sign me up, 2.2.

Have no clue what you're talking about!

I broke the front axle on my other one the week before.

Fishmaxx 12-13-2005 09:56 AM

2.2 and Super

Hope some of the Colorado boys make it out!

BTW ............Any thoughts on where people might be staying (hotels/campground), and dinner plans?

Franky Rizzo is the local connection with all the hook-ups

FrankyRizzo 12-13-2005 10:34 AM

I was going to see if anyone needed hotel accomodations. I need a tenative head count so I can see if I can score a group discounted rate.

Let's see how many would like to do a group dinner.

grover 12-13-2005 10:34 AM

I will be running in both classes.
