Default Kc Remote Crawlers / Midwest 2.2 Rock Crawling Challange

KC REMOTE CRAWLERS & FASTLANE HOBBIES prezents the 2007 midwest indoor rock crawling challange (2.2 class only).
saturday feb 3rd starting at 12:00pm , with a $10.00 entery fee per driver.
FASTLANE HOBBY is at 2850 SW 40 hwy BLUESPRINGS , MO.
we will be setting up a multiple gate crawling course , made of real rocks & concerate blocks/slabs.
this will be a FULL BORE comp crawling course & USRCRCA rules will appaly.
RANDY & SHANE at FASTLANE is letting us use the raceway all day (if need be) so, if we have the use of it all day ( & it's winter) why not do as mutch crawling as we can !!!!!
SO HERE'S MY IDEA. run two rounds of comp crawling , back to back , run two crawlers at the same time.
as soon as a crawler is half way through the course the next one starts & so on. for bouth rounds.
when both rounds are finished , both rounds scores are + or - and the lowest score wins & on.
running this way would be a lot of fun - like haveing two shots at the same course at one event , too cool
this idea is not for shure yet , it depends on the time it takes to run a round & the number of enterys we have.
let me know what you guys think of this idea for this event.
so far we have 3 different HOBBYTOWN USA's to sponcer some cool prizes , more to come (I HOPE).
PLUS there will be awards for 1st thru 10th finshing places.
this is KC/RC's first real comp crawl in KC & we want to put on the best comp event we can for your money.
i am trying to get enough sponcers for prizes so every one that enters , go's home with something .
PLUS , we will be giving out some cool awards this time !
MOST OF ALL we just want to put on a good event for you guy's.

hope to see all the midwest crawlers & some new ones at this event , should be a good time , DON'T MISS THIS ONE !!!!

any suggestions , obstacle ideas , prize sponcers , publicity , comments about the crawling program or any kind of help would verry verry welcome.
thanks & that's all for now , go to CMCRCR (www.4wdthunder.net/Forum) for more info & obstacle pic's.
CRAWL ON.
thanks KC REOMTE CRAWLERS

I also hope to be attending and I can help score if you need me to.

Never paid to enter a comp?

Is this entry fee for the use of the hobby shop?

Thanks

Dez

Crap I would like to come but can't spare the points in our series. We are crawling sunday.
If it matters I wouldn't do two coarses at the same time. I like to watch every truck that runs. That would be impossable with two coarses you only see half the trucks run.

Default entery fee use

yes we had to ask for a entery fee this time :-( , it is for the use of the raceway & the awards.

What is the total head count? I wish crawling was as popular in the midwest as it is in other parts of the country. It seems really hard to get Nebraskans off their *** to do anything.

I will be new to the area, moving down to the northlands area this monday or tuesday. I would like to meet some people to crawl with. I have never met up with anyone here in Omaha, mostly because I never had a rig in good enough shape to run.

My rig is not a comp going more for the scaler but I am a really good loser. Check out my rig here:
