Kind of a silly question, but is the path paved or is it dirt?

We need three course setters for 2.2M
I'd like to see 3 different people chip in.
And 2 guys setting courses for 2.2S
Any takers?

Perfect trail for a bike, I'm bringing mine!
It's a dirt path wide enough for a pick up truck to go down.

Hey, I'm new to MOA and comps in general. Went to one laid back scale comp in May which was really a 2.2pro/shafty comp for the most part. I'm interested in getting to this one and have been messing with the RC4WD RTR. I just wanted to know if I would be able to participate with this and if these are the rules/regs I should look at:
2016 RCCA Traditional Comp class rule updates (posted by Holmes on RCC).
I was possibly going to replace the dig system with 2 esc and just flashed my FS last night but not sure I want to take the chance of not knowing how to drive it, haha. The only other thing I did which I'm unsure is ok was put the RC4WD wideners on it and seems it's about 11" wide. If these things allow me to compete I'll probably go and hope not go hold anyone up with my likely terrible driving of this
Thanks for any feedback!

bring it yes it is a good rig with opportunity for improvement. I mean it in a censer way you are more then welcome to join and the rig should do just fine.

hear are a few things to help you out. center to center of the axles at its longest extension should be no more then 12.5 inches so get it as close as possible.

also for tires the rc4wd tires are ok and will get you there but a set of voodoo silvers or j concepts ruptures 2.2 with narrowed Crawler innovations 6.0 soft fronts comp cut and rear 5.5 medium NON comp cuts and an extra med tuning ring in the rear if you use ruptures. what ever you get for foams get them in NARROW.

THE most important thing is just come out and play

also carl and curt run bully axles so you can tap there brains and are both very good seasoned veterans

Please come we'll make sure you have everything you need.
As far as your rtr rig should be good to go, no worries if not.
You'll definitely be able to run. We'll tech you in and any changes you need you can make next time.
I've been doing this for over ten years still can't drive to save my life.
No worries.

Sounds good and I'll probably look to get a set before the next comp as it's wayyyy too late at this point and definitely will get the measuring tape out but think I've read somewhere that it's under 12.5" or close to that throughout the bully section.

I learned a lot during for scale at the comp I went to and now it sounds like I'll learn a lot for comp crawlers at this one. Sounds like a lot of fun and really that's all I'm looking to do like most everyone else with a group doing the same thing - solo crawling is fun or dragging your 3y/o through trails to be eaten by bugs but this should 1 up that for sure!

My only other issue is batteries... I have 2 in the mail but currently have 2 - 3S (800mah and 1100mah), will that get me through the 3 courses? Sorry but I have no clue on that, thanks. My charger can hook up to my car battery so if I had to I will just go back to the car between a course. Thanks again for all the help!

Yep I've changed everything to dean's and order dean's batteries. Think it's one of the first things I've found to be similar across the board and my soldering skills are getting better and better haha

Yeh they are 3S and one is kind of too big so that's why I ordered 2 more 3S 800mah for the future which fit nice in the chassis. I use 4S on one of my heavier scalers and gives me some nice run time. Thanks for the advice on sticking with 3S!

One good tip I can give this is double top secret that can give you an edge

All top drivers that I have ever seen all have one thing in comin they all walk or run directly behind there rigs which gives the perfect line of site for taking the correct lines it's like they have twinkle toes and just prance around the rocks I'm talking about you Weiner0812

Hahaha well these twinkle toes would likely land in a faceplant on the rocks! But it's a good tip to try and make a habit. Gotta get working on painting these couple little pieces of plastic now

Hey guys, I learned a lot today and wanted to thank everyone for taking some time to share their knowledge with driving and rig setup. I'll be working on both before I can get to the next meetup! I'll try to get a link to the pics posted here tmrw after I delete about 100 or so blurry ones.... Hopefully not more than that...
