Well you can give the stock motors an E for effort. This is the front left riding on weighted Flat Irons & 8shooters. More pics of the CC to come when I get the new axle, which BTW is warrantied. to Duratrax. |

I still look at it this way, It is still cheaper then running a 1:1. I am looking into modifying some axles. Andrew

Funny the steel tore in 4 ribbons like that as it twisted. Bet it had a flaw to begin with. Are you running steel gears? How many cells? |

Actually I have twisted axles on my 1:1 and the break looks very similar to this one. I kinda hope it was a flaw as now I will be running Cobalt's. I am running all steel gears and outputs, 11.1 3cell lipo with a Mamba Max I will post up pics and the build as soon as the front end is back together.

that sure gives me some confidence wth these things. is there a direction to these motors? ive notice they seem to have more pop in reverse than forward. |

Tried crawling with 3 axles today with the new motors, and well destruction was on all 4 corners. The drivers side twisted and snapped like the passenger side, so I pulled the rears to take a look and they were twisted almost 15 degrees, so I am assuming they were ready to break. I just ordered 2 sets of CVDs, part number DTXC7292. They look a bit more beefy. They are on back order so for now I will call the warranty department and have them send me another set of dog bones Andrew

i have 4 cells on the servo. i also tried these motors in series and that had a horrible effects. so i put it back. i trimmed my stock tires a little and there is less slippage in the front.
