| Extended link question
I've been noticing that a couple of guys on here are just lengthening the rear links and not front and rear. Is there an advantage to this other than only having to buy 2 longer shocks instead of 4?

| That is what I had in mind when I did mine. I'm going to the local hardware in a bit to look for some small clamps to mount the stock shocks on the links so my T4 can get it's shocks back.

its about weight distribution, you always want more up front. the longer rear links moves your horizontal CG forward. is for better crawling performance. |

| Does that work as well as having them on the axle? I can get a set of 4 axial shocks pretty cheap, so don't mind buying a set and splitting them between my 2 CC's if it has any advantages. If no advantage, I will just mount to links also and save the coin.

if can't come up with the $ for the ccx chassis. i i think i'll make 1inch longer front links and 2 to 2.5 longer rears. and come up with somewat to mount the stock shocks. inless someone says thats not a good idea to do it like that. and another thing i think i need to come up with is some kinda skid plate that mounts to the bottom of the links. and will let them flex like they should.
