Default Sidewinder

I have a sidewinder and love it. It has a drag brake. I have had one problem and it wasnt the ESC. I needed to change the EPA for reverse on my DX3.0!

novak for me, i LOVE the drag brake, and mine doesn't glitch at all after the motor was broken in. I really like not having to run a separate bec, 6v 5 amps is plenty

I love my sidewinder. Being able to program it via computer is really cool, and 11v (3s lipo) makes for a fun truck. I now hit curbs at full throttle and just bounce up them. That alone sold me on the Sidewinder.

Nope! You can stick program them, it's not that bad. Everybody acts as if it's Horrible. But you a limited on the amount of drag brake that can be applied 40% by stick and 100% by Castle link. And I think limited on one other thing can't remember... I love the Sidewinder! Super smooth on brushed! Good luck with it....

I emailed Castle Creations the other day about the BEC and here's what they sent back to me on its specs:
It's a 3A linear regulator, and puts out 5v. For crawlers you'd probably

> BECs. Up to 7A of BEC output, and you can change the output voltage to
> anything you want between 4.8v and 9v in 0.1v increments using the
> Castle Link USB programmer.
