| Wiring up the CC BEC. Their diagram is messing me up...
Ok I'm no fan of electronics, just not my thing. Prolly why I stick to nitros since thats easy for me. Ok in my comp 2.2 with 9.6v pack I had a problem with BEC in the FX-R. Understandable, so off I went and bought the CC BEC. Now I keep looking at the wiring and their diagrams...something isn't right. I'll be connecting it removing the Red wire from the ESC (as per CC's instructions below) Why on earth do they show the CC BEC plugging into channel 2 and the ESC into channel 1? My steering goes to channel one and my ESC to channel 2. Do I then plug the CC BEC into my Batt terminal on my receiver? I would assume my plan of: CH1: Steering CH2: ESC Batt: CC BEC would work as the BEC is acting as a battery source to power the Steering correct? I know this may sound dumb, but frying electronics isn't fun. |

Don't worry about what channel it is in. Either plug it into a spare channel/slot or wire it directly to your servo with a Y harness.

The picture is kind of misleading but the BEC can go into any channel to power the reciever. Your speed control needs to be plugged into channel 2. The BEC will be plugged into the BAT slot. Your stearing into channel 1 and you dig if you have on into channel 3. I hope this clears things up a little. |

HIJACK number 2, Ive been told that you can use a higher voltage batt than your speedo will take along with the cc bec. Is this true? My speedo is rated for 6 cells, adding the cc bec, will I be able to use a higher voltage battery? Thanks and sorry for the hijack Matt |
