And how will you be determining how many times a pack has been cycled?

I see alot of guys running your 3S 1100 on Bergs with 35-45 turn handwounds. Will you honor those even though that batt. is a little small for the application?

Any one running a 3S 1100 on a two motor system needs to do the research that pack will not last on two motors. It's fine on a 55T lathe but not two. Therefore we will not warranty a pack that has been overamped and this is clearly stated on our website on the warranty page.

That's what I figured, I just see some of your team drivers using that very pack on 2 35 turn motors in Bergs. Trust me, I would rather run a bigger pack than those.

Thanks for the info. A warranty is always a good thing.

Yeah I've talked to a few of them about this. The bergs are new and they need to understand that they need a bigger pack to run two motors safely.

Say for a set of standard 55T motors a 3S 20C 2100 should work fine but a set of 35T I would look at a 3S 25C 2200 . What's nice with the berg units is that with no center tranny to plug up the chassis this leaves you with a lot of room for a pack of this size to lay right in the bottom of the chassis which keeps your weight down low.

Ive been using a 2s 15c on mine with 22 55Ts with just a little warmth to the packs but, figured I was pushing them. Its the size of the 20c packs I dont like considering that I like to place the weight of the pack on the front axle. Can you guys make a more compact pack with the 20-25c rating. Maybe slightly taller ?

It's tuff to do but I am woring on it. The problem is that the Higher the c rating the cells get larger in most cases to large to be usable in the areas that people want.

We started a thread about this in the BERG section. Please you that thread from now on.

Thanks,

Jason

For any thinking about going with Max Amps....

I currently run 4 3000mAh 2 cell packs on my 2wd trucks, two with 4600 brushless setups and the other two with stock 15T brushed. I have 3 4000 2cell packs for my crawers and 1 5000 for my street 4x4 sprint car. All the packs have been working better than the comparable ones I was using...... Alex kicks but for help on the phone. I haven't dealt with Jason, but if he is anything like Alex, he's up there too..... Service is top notch. I screwed up an order and got the wrong balance plugs, I sent them back and they replaced them and sent them back to me at no charge. Shipping has always been fast too.
Two to the guys.

Sorry no idea at all. The boss man does it whenever he feels that's it's the right time.
