Default Hot servo

Should a servo get hot while you are using it? If so how hot should it be?

I have never had my servos get warm unless something was binding. I use Hitec 645 in most of my current RCs.

well servos are electronic devices so thay do generate heat.

i figure if it is getting hotter than you would like your bath water then something is wrong.

either you are binding somewhere, not using a powerful enough servo, or your servo just may be going bad.
