I had the same problem when binding mine. Personaly I unpluged everything and used a rx pack from my nitro car to power the rx. Then once I had bound it I just pluged everthing else back in.

when bind clip is in the orange led in receiver blinks and then turn your stuff on and then press bind on radio I didn't have bec and mamba but that worked for me

I have had to rebind my stuff a couple times but thats another thread!!

Well if you plug a 4.8v battery and the bind plug into the rx then a little led should light up. Then go the the bind menu in the controler and hit bind.

That is what I had in my DX3R box.

It is therefore impossible to be able to connect both at the same time and as a Mamba Max used with a BEC, it was necessary to cut a power wire. I can do anything!

Can I just make a "bypass" directly on the RX in place to put the "BIND ?

Simpler and less hack fix is as follows:

1. Bind Plug in Batt/Bind Port
2. Plug in servos into channels
3. Install 4 AA in included battery holder (or use a nitro receiver pack)
4. Turn on DX3R
5. Program model preliminary (name and such)
6. Insert lead of battery into AUX slot
7. Select the Bind Option
8. Bind
9. Remove battery and bind plug
10. All done

Not to be rude, but you do realize that the entire row of power and ground pins are conected in series inside the rx. I do believe it states in the directions to plug in the bind plug in the battery slot and then to plug in a rx battery into any other open slot.......Do you realy think Horizon would make you go to such lenghts to bind the rx without mentioning it?

The Castle BEC (depending on version) may put your RX into bind mode when in the batt slot- watch out for that.

Plug your power into channel one, put the bind plug into the batt slot, Power up, bind.

X2, it's simple as pie. Plug the BEC into a steering port or any port and put the bind plug in the aux port. Bind it, unplug the bind plug, and put the BEC back in the AUX port like you normally would. I only ever lost my bind when I had a servo burn up, and since have never lost a bind.

That is what I did with my second receiver ... BUT I channel "Aux" no longer signal.

Then I took my first Reveiver I tested channel "Aux", it worked, then I put my "Battery" in the "Aux", I then put the "bind" on the channel "Bat" then I "bind " my receiver and handed over everything in place .... AND my channel "Aux" no longer works on my second receiver as the first.

So I now two receiver "SR3100" that the canal "Aux" down :-(:-(:-(:-( ....

Do you have any ideas?

What to do?

HELP !

PS: My English is not good, I hope you understand me. Currently, I now two SR3100 with the channel "Aux" no longer works. if I put a "servo" or other on every channel works, if I put on the "Aux" the servo does not work

EDIT : Sorry ... I found ... the difference between my "receiver 1" on my "Crawler 1" and my "receiver 2" on my "Crawler 2" was the difference in the "Frame Rate" !

After xxx "bind" I compare my setup on my DX3R ... and the only difference was the "Frame Rate" .... still sorry to have bothered you with my false problem

Frame rate needs to be set at 11 ms or the higher one.....16.5 I think...

If its set at the 5.5 ms, only the digital servos will work.

Yes ... i have one Hitec Digital ... but if "setup" to 5.5 ... channel "Aux" is also "5.5" and if I put a non-digital servo or something else (eg "EasyLight") ... it does not work. That was my mistake. I put on this time 11ms, this is a pity that we can not set each channel separately

Your not going to notice the difference. I seriously doubt even the high speed racers do.
