Default JR ST126MG Servo Issues

i picked up a JR Sport ST126 servo, and plugged it into my spektrum receiver, and it's got issues.

when i turn and hold the the steering controls to full lock, the servo will turn in the direction, then extend to 90 degrees... then back another 180 degrees... and then reset the RX.

i tried replacing the BEC lead from the ESC with a 6v power pack, and swapped to another spektrum RX... and the issue kept duplicating itself.

the only time this did not present an issue is when i ran a stock AM radio + receiver with the servo. but why drive with AM, if you don't have to, right?

the servo is slated to be sent back to the LHS, to get it exchanged and let them deal with the issue, but now i'm worried that my RX has issues. has anyone else experienced this problem?

What kind of spektrum controller? Only thing that comes to mind is maybe the epas are wide open making it do goofy things.

i am using a helios ex-10 with spektrum module. the receivers i have tried this with are: SR3000 and SR3001.

i reset the model profile on the radio to default, and also tried turning the steering EPA's down.

just for the heck of it i also tried using the stock Losi DSM radio from the mini-lst2, and had the same experience.

oh well. it doesn't matter. i already returned it to the LHS, and swapped in for a Hobbico servo.
