Default novak goat acting up ?

let me start by saying when ever you turn this rig on you must check neutrul points on the remote(some times it wants to creep foward or back on its own). i got use to that but today i ran it and it started acting up. this thing is got a light show going on with the leds. when it is first pluged in it acts semi normal except for having to change the center of the neutrul on the remote like i said b 4 but now it seem like its over heating but the leds do not match anything on the paper work. Ive got blue & amber solid & green & red blinking ? it is 99 degress out in sac today but im just not sure any help guys or gals!

ok i just went out and messed with it (let it kool down for a bit ) it seems like it has an interuption in power for a split second and the leds change in foward only the blue and red should be on and the amber comes on intermitenly?

Could be a few things, first place to look is the power wires. Check for loose wires, bad solder joints, or even worn out plugs. If it's been the same pack for this long, could be worth trying a different one.

Usually when there is "all of a sudden" heating, it's the sign of a problem either in the motor or the ESC "most times", but bad wires, or a weak pack make more resistance and makes more heat too, so it's hard to guess right on the first try.

If you're drawing enough power to dipp the voltage of the battery, the above is all the same, could be something making the ESC and motor draw more power, like a drive train problem, or it could be the motor and esc going bad and making themselves draw more power.

Troubleshooting on something like this is always tough.
