Default how dx6i program to act like a Y-harness?

i tried seting up a mix, but I don't know what im doing enough to get it to work. Id like to either program y-harness steering servos, using the aileron as the master and throttle as slave, but not have anything happen when i hit the trottle stick, and when i hit the aileron stick it moves both servos the same.

Or program either the gear or flap switch to be the master and trottle to be the slave, I need it to make both servos turn left at one postion and turn right at the other postion. and the trottle stick have no control over the servo plugged into its channel.

So basically i need one of those what evers easier and its just programing to act like a y harness with either steering(first) or shifting(second)

thanks much

Not look at mine right now....going off the top of my head. Go to Mix 1 in the Menu, Choose the Aileron for the first selection (Master) and the Throttle channel for the second selection. Set both throws (not sure what it's called) to 100%. Choose the Gear or Flap for the switch selection. Just refer to the manual, it is pretty self explanatory. Just think of it as mixing selection 1 with selection 2. Selection 1 channel will be moves two separate channels (Selection 1 and Selection 2).
