You can try a Hobbico CS150 with around 200oz of torque for around $40 or a hobbico CS170 with over 300oz of torque for around $80. |

I run a Airtronics 94780m MG With 423oz @ 6v in both my crawlers this thing is awsome. I had a 200oz servo I got off ebay befor this one. Handsdown best servo I've ever used. Well worth the $130.00 I paid for it.

If you plan to do any serious crawling then do yourself a BIG favor and forget about a cheap servo. I dislike Hitec but their 7955 series servo fits the bill at 300+ oz of torque, metal gears and price. Get the 645 and you'll be buying a better servo soon. |

but if your building a serious crawler then gotta look at the slightly more pricey ones. you get what you pay for

The 645 has more than enough torque for crawling. The only thing is its a little slow but rock crawling isnt the fastest kind of driving out there so who cares?

Our CYS servo has more torque and is faster than the Hitec, plus it's only $20... http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...ervo-p-18.html |

I used to run a 645mg and thought it was the bees knees. It took a crap on me after 6 months and I bought a Hitec 7955. I wish i would have just done that in the first place. Would have saved me 40 bucks in the long run. I love the 7955 its a sweer servo plenty of torque and you can get lucky and find them for around $100 bucks. Like said before you get what you pay for and some of the cheaper servos are nice but i wouldn't go to anything else after using the 7955. Plus Hitecs customer service is pretty fast to and they fix just about anything no questions asked.

this guy is right..... invest now instead of buying multiple $40 servos. Hitec does have great service. Exactly, no questions asked.
