Thumbs down I used to like TS-150s...

I had two Tower Hobby TS-150 servos on my Axial for about a year. A couple of weeks ago I made some modifications to my suspension setup and added some weight in the front, about the same time the only plastic gear in the servos got chewed up. At first I thought it was just due to age, but got suspicious when I moved my seconded TS-150 from my dig to my steering and it died the same way in short order. Hoping their failure was just due to age I ordered two new ones. The one I used for steering died on the last course of today's comp (the only course I was doing well in), one gate away from the finish with about 1/2 of a pack ran through it (2/3 C, 7-cell)... :-(. So, I think the TS-150 is still a great dig servo, but it just isn't good for a steering sevro when you are running more than 12oz of weight per tire. I think I'll go with the Hitec HS7955TG, sure it is almost three times as much, but if it lasts it is worth it.

FYI, the 7950th is currently the same price as the 7955 at servocity. It is quite a bit better, so I suggest you get that instead. (but you don't have to :P, more for me)
