also about 2.5 times more expensive. try DX3S, not R R=Racing, S=Sport. much cheaper for the sport.

Are you stuck on Spektrum brand? Futaba and KO Propo have a couple reasonablr priced alternatives.

you can get the ko propo ex5-ur at RPP for 189.95, the futuba 3p mx can be found for the same price. i got the ko and love it, comes with two tiny recievers that can handle 2s lipo direct. the futuba comes with a rechargable battery and the ant. folds down. both should do everything you need for much less than the 3r.

The DX3S is a 3.0 with telemetry and uses fewer batteries. I had a 3.0 and liked it, made an upgrade to the 3S and it has glitched a few times, it just adjusts trim at random, usually when you least expect it. I'd suggest Futaba if you've got money, the recivers are not as cheap as spekky ones, when you've got 5 trucks it all adds up, I've got more in recievers than in the handset |

| then either the ko or futuba is the one you want, if you got more than one rig the ko makes sense with two rx's. both companies were making top level gear before spectrum was a company, thier not knock off's. i know the ko is faster than a 3r (way faster than 3s or 3.0) and believe the futuba is to.

I sold both DX3.0 and bought two Futaba 3MX instead; i'm very happy with them, the 4WS mode is awsome! Greetz Nico |

dx3r is the 2nd best radio behind the 4pk. If you think you might ever need the channels, go 4pk. If not, dx3r

I do have to say if your looking for a good 3 channel 2.4 radio the Futaba 3pm-mx is at par with with the 3r. yes it only has a ten model memory and the LCD is not quite the same function wise, but for around 180.00 with a receiver its a pretty sweet deal. One of four different buttons can be set to be between 2 and 200 position switches, or just set it as a 3 position switch. |
