Default 35 turn and water!

i have an scx10 with this motor, everytime i drive through water deep enough to reach the motor the sand and grit get in and stop it from running. I have to blow it out with electrical cleaner and sometimes that doesnt work. i took the motor apart and cleaned it and now works great! i thought about getting a outerwear but dont know if that will help. does anbody else have this problem? and if so what did you do to fix it? thanks

I feel your pain not much you can do except wrap the motor with some foam like they use for air filters on gas engines. It will help extend the life of the motor for a while.

I used to chuck an old fashioned party balloon over my motor, worked a treat.

In our club we by sweat pants and cut the material and wrap it around the motor, tiny holes for the motor to breath yet small enough so crap doesn't clog the motor. Clean it every other run and your golden.

t-shirts soak up the dirty water more than the silk of the sweat pants, other material similiar to silk like the sweat pants should work.
