| new fxr-pro thermal shutdown problem
Hello eveyone. I just installed a tekin fxr-pro in my creeper and I am having problems with thermal shutdown. The esc shuts down within a minute or two. I am running a tekin 55t motor, hitec 7955 servo and a small servo for the dig. I am running a 3s hyperion lipo. Is a bec the answer? I know that a lot of guys run a bec, but I have also heard of people having success without one. Am I just putting to much of a load on the esc? What do you guys think?

Thanks for the help. Looks like I gotta make a trip to the lhs today! I'll go for a bec, and end up spending $100 on things I never knew I needed!

id have to agree in this case, a bec is the fix. if you want to be sure, if you have a 5 cell receiver pack or even a 4 cell alcaline battery holder around you can do a test. unhook the red wire going from the esc to the receiver, plug the batter pack into the receiver and try running it, if it doesnt shut down then a bec is definitly the fix
