Default BEC

anyone know how to remove this? I was told not to use it with the 1/4 scale servo i wanted because it would damage it. What do i do?

Just plug a battery in.

If you're talking about a CS80, use the Y harness that comes with it to hook the battery directly to the servo.

will i need 2 reciver batts for the cs 80 if i want 4 wheel steer?

I run two CS80's and just y harnessed into the main motor pack.

No problems yet. YMMV.
