Default Lcc

I think I will be purchasing A LCC or Axial ARTR in the near future. (leaning towards LCC) Since I will need electronics, motor and Battery. What would you guys suggest for a Radio receiver, motor combo. Either 7.2v or lipo, Still undecided what battery selection.
Can all this be done under 300 BILLS? And still be crawl worthy set up.

futaba 3pm-x or dx3e. Novak goat 3s with 21.5 , 17.5 , 13.5 made for the lcc but rec only 2s lipo. get a lipo with a higher c rating. like 20-45c.

a 3pmx ($160) or dx3e ($90) or good cheaper choices for radio. and a hitec 7955 or 7950 ($100-115 new) servo. a mini for dig like 225mg ($25) a goat 3s w/ 18.5/21.5 ($190) on 3s lipo ($20-50) . but no this cant be done for under 300 more like 400-500 for quality electronics. for just the tx/rx and esc/motor can be done for right about 300

I don't think you can do it under 300 since the LCC is 280 alone. The novak goat 3s will run you 200 with motor plus your servos around 100 for both, then you need a radio. Spektrum dx3e is 100 plus a battery, losi 3s is around 45.

I'm sorry I should have more clear. I was thinking around 300 $ for just electronics.

It can be close to do for $300 but I don't think it will be under. Tekin FXR, 35t motor, servo's, radio and battery? It will be close.

I'm running teh DX3e for the radio, Xcelerin Crawler 21.5t combo, 5645MG and 82MG servos, and an E-Flite 1250mAh 3s Lipo right now. I had a Sidewinder with a CCBEC (happy to be rid of that in this truck!) and a Titan 21t with the same radio, battery, and servos at our last comp and it performed well.

I have an LCC that runs the novak goat 18T motor/ESC/and Bec all included for 200.00. The dx3e 100.00 will work just fine and has a 3 postion swith for the dig. 2 servos ran about 150.00. as you can see you are looking at 450.00 for the electronics. Spend a little more now and you can avoid spending more later. There ia a thread about the motor for the LCC. Make sure you get the right one, and the right pinon gear or you will fry the motor. just my .02

Ya could do a good brushed setup for a little over $300 (fxr/35 combo, ccbec, dx3e, hobbieco c170, turnigy lipo +a cheap dig servo) without a charger. But, ya really need a sensored brushless system in a losi (tekin/lrp/novak) and that will add at least $80.
