Default ESC problem

I just reassembled my truck after working on it and I have a problem. I have a Novak XRS sport reversable. I'm using a servo reverser and I'm trying to find out if I have it plugged in right. Which place does the ESC plug into on the reciever? Battery, channel 1 or 2 and which should the reverser plug into. I may have it right but I can't remember. When I power the truck on, it runs about 5 feet and dies. Even with a freshly charged battery. Please help.

1 is steering, 2 is throttle.

Your reverser I'm assuming is a reversing "Y" harness. That'll go in place of the steering servo (channel 1) and your servos will plug into the "Y" harness.

After you get everything set up make sure the throttle channel on the Tx isn't reversed (check the switch) then re-program the ESC.

Make sure your Rx antenna is in good shape and your batts (including Tx) are charged.

Thanks JasonInAugusta. Maybe I just need to reprogram it.

I just put two and two together.

You're using a XRS and a Y harness. That means TWO servos.

The XRS has a 1A BEC circuit.

Run a Rx pack and see how it does. ;)

Found out what the problem was. My charger was set on its lowest current setting and apparantely it wasn't charging my batteries in quick charge mode. Thanks for the suggestions.
