Did you change connectors? I accidentally mixed up the wire colors and soldered my battery leads to the motor and motor wires with a deans connector, so as soon as the plugs made contact it would jump. Hope this helps.

Whats the whole set up..full electronics spread including radio,,it sounds like you need to set your end points or trim points.

I just got a used one and mine did it also. You just need to program it to your radio.

to do this....turn the radio on first, then plug the battery in, then pull full throttle on the radio and hold it there, while holding it there turn the esc on, it'll flash or beep after a second or two, then go full reverse and again it'll flash and beep, then relax to neutral position. it'll then be ready to use.

it worked for mine atleast, and if my instructions are not right just look it up in the manual which if you don't have you can find online.

good luck and hope this helped

re programing the esc should cure ur problems

1- turn on tx
2- while in the off position plug in ur battery into the esc
3- while in the off position hold down the programing button
4- while holding doen the programing button turn on the esc
5- release the programing button after the red light goes on
6- pull throttle to "full- forward" position until solid green light goes on
7- pull throttle to "full - brake/ reverse" position until esc blinks green
8- return to neutral position (light should turn red)
9- crawl and have fun

Just hold the button down while plugging in the battery, that does the same as using the switch.
