Default Axial esc doesn't tell motor to go forward

I am having trouble with my ax10 esc. I was driving it around. The yard yesterday and it jus stopped going forward. I can still operate it in reverse and the light on the esc lights up to indicate it is receiving the signal to go forward. I wired the motor strait to the battery and it worked in forward. I ordered a Holmes hobbies ESC last night but didn't know if there is anything else I might could try.

Have you tried re-calibrating the esc? It might be a longshot, but takes 30 seconds to do.

You might be able to. Try this, Turn on yor radio and hold the throtle then turn on the esc and wiat for the lights to flash. Then let go for a second and hold reverse. Then let go.
