** sidewinder question ** OK i got my sidewinder and put it in and it works ok forward but reverse is really glitchy and it wont stay at a steady speed (any suggesion)? |
and in forward it has like 2 stages of throtle and i hate it, Smooth as an unpaved country road:lmao: |
do you have it programmed for brushed??? get a castle link and fine tune everything. |
yeah its all set for brushed |
Is it set for high powered brushed or brushed reversing. You want it on brushed reversing. i had the same issue and that solved my problems. |
its on brushed reversing |
what servo, radio and esc are you running? could be a glitchy am radio, could be to much power drainage from servo. |
What condition is the motor in? New? Used? It could be a brush/commutator issue. The brushes might not be making good contact in reverse. I'd check and clean the motor, brushes, comm and try it again. Hope that helps. |

have you looked at the brake/reverse curve. If you have a link go into the brake curve setting and make sure it looks more like a straight line from one corner to the other. |
