Default esc combo for lcc

Just ordered a lcc today and I'm lookin for a decent cheap motor esc combo that would be good in it. I have a holmes hobbies esc that could be used if a brushed motor would be ok.

Brushless is the only way to go in a lcc. I would recommend a tekin rs/17.5 but you said cheap so look at a hobbywing crawler set up.

the motors those come with are junk but the esc is decent i would look at an ezrun 17.5t brushless combo since they are like 100 bucks but they too are sensorless

You can try a 35 turn motor with the Holmes controller. Just gotta be careful with it.

I'm using the Holmes ESC and Holmes Epic 35 turn and it stays cool somehow and works pretty good.

If you want inexpensive get a good sensored brushless setup like the goat/mmp/tekin rs from the start. This will save you the expense of upgrading later when you get tired of cheap electronics.
