| Novak Goat 21.5t Motor Problem. HELP!!
So, early this morning I installed a brand new Novak Goat system in my buddies LCC. We headed to the rocks and everything worked fantastic for 45 minutes. All of a sudden, everything locked up. When applying throttle, the wheels would only glitch in either direction. Ok, the gears must be locked up for some reason. We headed home and took out the motor to spin the gears by hand, and sure enough, everything was free and working. I then turned on the power to try the motor itself, and it still would only glitch in either direction. So, I presume there is something wrong with the motor, because the ESC reads everything normal. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance, Skkeeter Last edited by skkeeter; 05-22-2010 at 09:41 PM. |

Check the sensor wire from the ESC to the motor.

| Sensor wire looks good. That was one of the first things I looked at. All wires look perfect and the ESC is displaying the solid red as if everything is normal. I tried the 1 touch programming again with no positive results.

| It's the 21.5t ballistic. It will probably be going to Novak on Monday. Did they quote you a timeframe on how long to get it back?

oh, u said 18.5t originally... any way, they said it would be about 3 weeks after they recieve it, could be shorter, all work is done in order that it arrives, so its hit and miss to be accurate | |
