By the time ya pay for shipping ya aren't saving much and the ccbec is proven and quality. No need to increase our debt to china.

It probably works well, the only thing is the output is not selectable A CC BEC is still the way to go Last edited by Mr Glassman; 04-04-2010 at 09:49 AM. |

i happened to get ahold of a turnigy BEC. mine is not the same as you have in mind, but mine is the one pictured here... i can't say how awesome it might be over any other product, but i do know that it kicked my winch servo in the pants when i installed it. it now packs enough punch to lift my 8 lb scaler straight up off the ground with no problems at all. |

Have one in my heli. Works great i like the leds to show batt. charge. Love how people comment on a product they know nothing about. The output on this is selectable with the flip of a switch.

| The small, blue plastic tab lets you select between 5v or 6v output, so it is selectable. I've used a number of the Hobbywing/Turnigy/MKS 3A cont/ 5A max UBEC's in my trail trucks, 1.9 and 2.2 comp trucks. We've yet to have one fail and we run them in all weather conditions (incl a couple that have gone for a swim ). We're using them to power JR Z9000T's in the 2.2's so they're getting a workout. For under $10 shipped they're hard to beat. http://cgi.ebay.com/Newest-Hobbywing...item3a5b12259f If the new ones are anywhere near as reliable as the old ones they should be just fine. |

Only 5 or 6 volt output kills it for me. I'll keep my Castle BEC's. |
