| Losi mrc esc fried?
I was letting my friend play with my crawler while I was working on my savage(so I wasn't watching him) and he was just tooling around on my indoor rock course as far as I know and now there's no forward! When you hit forward on the radio a little light on the esc lights up red but the truck doesn't move It's a Losi mrc with stock esc, 2 cell lipo and slider motor I tried a different motor and it only went in reverse also. Am I out a esc or could It be something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

Have you tried removing the motor to see if it will turn? Does reverse work fine?

i havent removed the motor yet but reverse does work fine just hooked the wires up backwards and it still moves forward when u press reverse, just the forward trigger isnt responding so i hooked it up backwards and reversed the settings on my controller so it goes forward when pressing the trigger forward and just noticed theres no brake at all, it just coasts to a stop Last edited by black92coupe; 07-04-2010 at 12:55 PM. |

theres no settings to miss on the stock radio lol the light on the esc turns off when i press the trigger slightly and lights up red when i press it fully like its supposed to, it just doesnt send any power out to make the motor turn? either way i guess i got a way to bash it around until i find a suitable aftermarket replacement is the castle mini good? |

Hummm.....well, that is weird. Maybe he changed the profile on the ESC. Yeah, Castle makes some of the best ESCs on the market. |
