I thought air and surface could be mixed, mayby futaba is different or i heard wrong about spektrum

no for futaba, but i guess for only air radios. But still god for the guys that use their stick radios

Neither Futaba Air Spektrum Air with work with Spektrum or Futaba surface. Different protocalls. I tried it with a 6114fs I think it was and my 4PK when it first came out but it wouldn't work.
