Default Cool Mod for DX3R!

Alright, so i bet most of you guys own a 4PK or a DX3R. saddly, i dont own a 4PK, and have a DX3R, and have a nice mod or add onto the DX3R!

most of the guys i know who own a DX3R dont use a Screen protector, and the screen gets scratched up very easy after some use.

So this mod, is to protect your DX3R from scratches on the screen!

Tools:
X-acto
Scissors
Fine Tip Sharpie
Iphone Screen protector

first off: i went to my local Daiso, which is a japanese dollar store. it is located in a few places.. they have one in Cupertino, mountain view and maybe some other locations that i am unaware of. The Screen protector only costs $1.50!

2nd. get home with the screen protector

3rd. get your DX3R, wipe it with a fine cloth, that wont leave dust

4th. get your screen protector (DO NOT TAKE OFF THE FILM YET), and get your sharpie, outline the edges of the screen to fit the DX3Rs screen. i found the iphones width is the same as the DX3R's!!!

5th. Slowly cut the sharpie marks with a good pair of scissors.

6th. apply on your DX3R.

TIPS: if you get air bubbles, dont push them out, peel back one edge, to the farthest bubble. (try to get the edge where the bubble is closest too). Then to reapply, very slowly lay down the protector, while lightly putting pressure between where the protector has been already applied and where it hasnt been on the protector, not the screen!

Thanks for reading! Hope you like this mod!

Great tip. But want it even cheaper and with an Anti-Glare finish? Use the AE or J-Concepts chassis protector film. Same price as most IPhone screen protectors and you'll be able to make a lot more with the money.
