One should be fine. BEC supplies the juice, the signal is still separate. JRH did a display using one BEC and a whole fleet of servos lifting a stack of weights. |

I just put rear steer on my 2.2 scaler and 1 BEC wasn't enough. Im using a JR8711 on the front and a Futaba S9157 on the back. My rig weighs 10.5lbs. I have a BEC wired direct to each servo (6v) and now it works great. The BEC in my HH BR-XL powers my servo winch. This is a lot of wiring but well worth it (IMO).

Another option is the Castle Creations BEC Pro. It's a dual output, 20 amp BEC. Check it out on their site. It is big but one single unit to wore in might be nice as well.

I just had this one answered last night by Harley, Yes, you'll need 2 BEC's to run 2 high torque servo's IF you're not using a BRXL ESC. I'm building a dual steer 2.2 Bully, 7950 front servo, 7955 rear servo with an FXR/Punk dig combo. My front servo's BEC is set at 7.4V, a rear BEC will get set at 6.0V. They will be directly wired for power from the BEC's with only the signal wires going to the rx. If you're good with the soldering iron, shorten the leads on the BEC, for crawlers they are way too long. |

Anybody happen to have a wiring diagram for running two bec's directly to the servo's with one esc? (fxr)

Same as above pics, you just need to power poth BEC's at the ESC source. I"ve recently done a dual steer 2.2 MOA rig and used 1 BEC for the front servo (a 7950) and ran the 7955 through the futaba rx. It's working fine right now, but I haven't had a chance to bind up the rear wheels so I'm not sure if it'll be enought with out a deticated BEC. |
