Default Tekin 35T motor noise

Okay, i just got my new Tekin FXR/Tekin 35T motor in stalled in my rig. Everything setup okay but the motor is noisy going forward but nice and quiet in reverse.

What do you think my issue is?

should i bring it back to my LHS and see if i can get a new motor?

Try pulling the motor out of the rig and see if it's still noisey, if not, it may be an issue in the trans.
Is this a new/new to you rig, or did you have a motor in it before? If so, was it quiet both directions?

BTW, a new motor may make some noise until the brushes seat.
