Default 3R winch

Ok well i thought the 3r winch had compatiablity issues with some radios, but after 30 minutes of searching i can't find anything, and it doesn't help 3r can't be used in the search. So what radios can't the 3r work with.

Will it work with flysky radios (gt3, gt3b, ct6b, etc)

the FLysky controller will not work with the 3r winch. The 3rd channel needs a 3position switch.,. I suggest looking at the link below.. I use it with my FS GT3B and it works flawlessly..

Winch Controller for Radio with 2 Position Third Channel

Not to jack the thread but does the esc for the winch pull power from the recover or does it have to be plugged directly into a battery. I know power from the recover will only be 6v not 7.2 . I'm jumping to 3s lipo and just relized how my winch was wired

never heard of the 3R not working with a radio (unless its about the 3 position--which I know your not worried with your stuff). I mean, its just a signal from the receiver...go...stop...go(the other way). Interesting that a radio would cause something to not work...almost like saying that a Novac won't work using a certain receiver?? its just signal. Will be watching if its true...never heard of it.

I think its the 3r, but i may be something else i am thinking of, but its something about the speed which the radio operates, i am unsure i remember looking at a thread while back that had a list of radios that would work and ones that won't, and i think it was about the 3r winch, but i may have been something else.

Yes it works with the FlySky GT3B, I am using it with mine. But like zumzum said you will need another controller for it

First its not the gt3b, its a ct6b stick radio, the reason i mentioned gt3 and 3b is because they all use the same stuff, just different processors. So i am not worried about another winch controller so i can use a 2 position, my question is does the 3r controller see, recognize, follow flysky commands.
