| Tekin ESC's and dual motor winds
Looked at Tekin's site. For the FXR they state that it's only 3S LIPO compatible with 35T and higher. What will be the case with dual 35T motors? The ESC would see 17.5T when wired in parralel. Would this be the same for the R1? I also have a ESC from Mtroniks. The Rock C. 3S compatible, 35T limit. Will I burn these ESC's with dual motors and 3S LIPO. Rock C specs. FWD, brake and reverse 2-3S LIPO safe plus cut off 6V, 5A BEC 35T motor limit 2 modes. Standard, full speed and drag brakes. Crawler, reduced top speed with full brakes in neutral. |

Speed Controls have a power limit they can handle. I can promise you there is very little truth to simply just dividing stuff in half. Even a machine wound 19t will hit 165+ while most 35t will be in the 80s....a handwound 19t though can get into the 180s with ease, especially the big wire versions on 3mm blanks. I would contact the manufacture and ask them what type of wattage the unit can handle. Later EddieO |
