Default DX3E with multiple rx????

I'm looking at converting all my rigs to Spektrum but I read in the OM of my DX3E that it does not have multiple model memory. Back the the days of FM I used 3 rigs on one model memory and got them all working ok. Only had to tweak my steering trim a bit between each rig. I'm wondering if I buy a few more RX's and bind them all at the same time if it would work. Otherwise I'll have to re-bind each RX for each rig. Which isn't a huge deal but was just curious if it were possible to do without re-binding.

Don't have that transmitter but I'm running 4 receivers off of a Tactic DSM transmitter and I've bound all four to the tranismitter. Then when I power one up, I just have to set the steering and throttle up for each one.. Just don't have a couple of them on at the same time or you'll be chasing after one of them

did you actually have to bind them all at the same time or did seperately work?

Ok I know this is an old thread but figured I'd just re-use this thread instead of starting a new one.

I scored a SR3500 micro RX to fit in my overly cramped King of Bean rig Mugsy. I've tried to bind the RX to my DX3E but for some reason it won't work. I've read the directions and believe I've done it right. I've emailed Spektrum but still havne't heard from them after 3 days. So does anyone know if these two units are compatible?

Shouldn't be a problem, I've got one bound to my DX3e, originally had it in my Mini Crawler and it's now in my brushless Micro Desert Truck and works flawlessly in either truck

I wonder what the deal is then. I changed the battery in the car and the TX. the lite keeps blinking a few times then pauses and blinks again. Can't get it to blink continuously.

Did you get the reciever pack that comes with the dx3e? I seem to remember having troubles getting my sr3500 to bind to my dx3e. I used the reciever pack instead to bind it with a servo plugged in and it worked fine. Dont remember what I was doing wrong with the esc. The reciever plugs are very easy to plug in backwards on the sr3500, I know its not likely, but double check and make sure you have them plugged in the right way. My dx3e and sr3500 wotk great together now, so I know it should be fine once you get it figured out. Let us know what you find. Good luck!
