Default How do you like your Bulldog 9300XT Scale Winch?

These have finally become available again from several places. I've got one comming, and a controller from "heyok". I'm just wondering how you like yours, and if you use it much?

On my F250...and seems to pick it up pretty good, toasted the first controller..gotta watch that!!!!!! and almost burnt up the second one....on something that "has never happened before"

I like the looks and the scale of it though.

Sweeet. I have found mine to be real tough, lots of winching and no problems pulling. I would say that like anything it can handle so much. It also comes with a spare motor and gears. And I did dump my truck in a creek and the winch started freaking out a little. It acted twitchy, slowly spooling out, hasn't stopped yet. Haven't found the reason yet, I can post when I do...

I am also looking into getting rid of the metal cable. Already ripped off my hook and I can seeing the cable getting kinks and tiring.

I like mine except for the metal line. Ive had it break twice at the hook by chafing which is more my mounting position then anything else.

Just wondering how you are finding the winch controller electronics that comes with the winch? And if anyone is running this winch with one of my controllers?

I hope to hook it up in a little while just to see how it works, and maybe get it permantly installed.

Where do any of you guys that have a DX3R, set it up to control your winch from? I've got mine on the "C" button, and I'm not sure I like it there.
