Default Change battery configuration on my TLT

Well, I went the popular route and mounted my pack of cells at the front resting on the servo and held at the other end with some fuel tube. But I found this did limit articulation all be it a small amount. So I saw a thread by a fellow member on here who split the pack and mounted it front and rear. I decided to give it a go. Its turned out pretty well. I used some heavy duty velcro and for some added security I also used some fuel tube to attach the two packs. The wiring is a tad untidy and I need to sort that out, but I have gained a bit more articulation.

The only downside is that I have also lost a small amount of weight from the front.

PS, I also didnt have any shrink wrap:?

very nice..........just make sure you secure the 2 wires that go to the 2 sides together with zip ties or other so you dont pinch or drag them............. which axle wideners are you using and how do you like them?

Yup, got cable ties to come.
As for the wheel wideners they are Inet ones. They seem pretty good. Have used em on my TXT in the past with no worries either.

Looks good, now get it on the rocks.

A couple people you can't trust,

1. A skinny chef

2. A grader with a clean shovel

3. A farmer with new tractors

4. A auto mechanic with clean finger nails

5. And a R/C crawler with a scratch free rig

I know its kinda off topic but what chassis are you using on your rig? By the way, batteries look awesome, I have to try that!

The chassis is made by a friend of mine here in the UK. He goes by the name of TWINSET.

He has recently posted on here pics ofa newer version of that chassis with a laydown tranny.

Looks cool, if he hasn't already he should start selling them. I'm sure there are many people looking for a setup like that.
