Default Fhss Rx options

Hey, Does anyone make aftermarket or Futaba Fhss compatible recievers,

I want to get some 2/3/4 channel receivers to use my 4PL for basher trucks and I don't want to buy a $50 receiver for a $50 car.

anyone know ?

I'm no expert but I think Futaba has the FAST system market. Thats why I hung on to my DX3R.

Why not use one receiver with Velcro and swap between beater cars?

i could do that, I don't really want to though. It would be alot better to be able to pick it up, turn it on and go.

Unless you are buying them used, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a Futaba RX for under $80. This is one of the reasons Spetrum radios are so popular, you can get a Losi RX for around $30.

Looks like Futaba finally got smart. The price of RXs was one of the big reasons I switched to a DX3R, 6 months ago they couldn't be touched for under $80.

Futaba has 2 systems. The fast and the fhss. The 4pk uses the fast and the rxs may be more expensive. The 4pl uses the fhss and the rxs are $50.

It would appear to me that LRP makes a c3 fhss rx that is pretty tiny. This is probably expensive but it appears to be an option and it is small which would be great for an MRC. What am I missing on this?

Also keep an eye out for these Futaba 6J receivers as they also work with the 4PL and the advantage over the above receiver these are also S-FHSS High Speed receivers. I only range tested them to the back door at work today (about 25mtrs) so I dont know if you'll get full range with them but for crawling they should do the trick.

I had the same expense problem when I first purchased my 3PL they were basically 100.00 per reciever but now I can get them for about 50.00 much better. Discgolfer I much prefer you avatar. :-)
