few questions on a spektrum dx3s

a friend got one of these. nice radio.. pretty expensive. i would like a 3 channel radio. that i can use for 4 or 5 cars. not looking to spend that kinda money. sure it a great radio.

what other options do i have? thanks

with the dx3s's 2 position 3rd channel, it fails in a lot of crawler applications (digs, winches, etc...) the dx3r has a 3 pos 3rd channel, as do the dx3e and dx3c. for the money right now on a spektrum radio, i'd be looking into the dx3c more than anything else.

I was in the market for a good radio and went w/ the dx3c, so far I am very pleased...

Futaba 3PM-x may fit your needs. For a little more, a Futaba 4PL is great.

If you already have Spectrum RX's, then stick to them.

Yeah it's a great radio and now fully hackable, and it does have 10 model memory. losikid has started selling hacking kits. Check out this thread:
