| lipo cut-off problem
I am using a Novak M2dig and a Max amps 2s lipo, charger shows that battery is fully charged but esc keeps going into cut-off mode almost instantly. Battery is only a few months old and is always balance charged correctly, anyone else have this problem or have an idea why this is happening?

What ESC are you using? I tried one on my XL5 and it will not work with it. I was told that the XL5 will not handle a LiPo cutoff.

Novak M2 Dig ESC, I have been running the same setup for several months without any trouble and haven't changed a thing, now I can't get it to run.

You might have a bad cell in the pack, do the voltages between cells get way off or were they before the problem got so bad ?

A few times they were a bit off from each other but I've been careful lately and haven't had any problems recently. Never had a cell below 3.2 volts, but have had a 200mv difference at least once. They always balance right up and stay close together. The cutoff kicks in right away though and I checked it right away and the batt seems fine. It almost seems like the esc thinks it's a 3s hence the early cutoff. It goes fine with the cutoff switched off and I have a comp on Sun. I'll be sure to charge between runs and hope for the best till I get it figured out I guess.
