| Castle link driver problem
i just got a castle link kit from my LHS. ive installed the software from Castles website like they said for Windows 7. when i connect the link board it recognizes a usb connected, then tries to install drivers. it fails to install. i read castles FAQ's. i followed the instruction in FAQ, when searching for drivers automatically, it says device is up to date. but there is still the Yellow "!" WTF? please help. thanks...

one thing i realized, in the trouble shooting FAQ's. Going into Control panel/ hardware/ etc... It says look for Phoenix link or Phx link. mine doesnt list either. its just listed as "USB Input Device". but i know that's the one im looking for cause of 2 reasons. it has the yellow "!" next to it. and when i unplug the Link board and disappears. Also, can someone go into Device Manager and look at the driver details of their link. What is listed? i have 3. C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\hidclass.sys C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\hidparse.sys C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\hidusb.sys is this what others have? thanks... Got it working. i went through and deleted everything Castle Creations related. then reinstalled software. then shut down computer, not restarted. then powered back up. once powered up and running. plugged the link into USB and it loaded and installed drivers. finally. thanks for trying to help.
