Anybody heard of or tried these servos?

So been looking around and ran across these. They claim Amerang has been supplying hitec with servos.

11.1v? Say what...No bec needed. These spec out about like the 7950. Same price too. $130. Problem is I can only find them in the UK.

Unsubstantiated claims like that makes me very cautious. This could well be a knock off, though the price doesn't reflect it.

Then again I'm a cynical person.

Anybody? I am really considering being the guinea pig and trying it.

I'd pass on those. For that kind of money spend it on something you know is proven and works. If you can only find them in the UK support is going to be a PITA if something goes wrong.

I found it for $65.00 US

Buy XQ-S4230D 12V 30kg-cm remote control helicopter servo, XQ-S4230D 12V 30kg-cm remote control helicopter servo at Aliexpress.com

Sarcasm? Hitech 7950- $120-$140 BEC $24.99

I run 4 7950's on my super, 1 on my 2.2 and another on my 1.9. The gamble for $65 on this servo seems worth it to me.

Those remind me of this:
HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy HV-767 Digital HV-2S Servo 31kg/ .118sec / 78g

I was looking into these for a build but didn't do it. There is a gear that spins after awhile and you need to drill and add an anti roll pin to it.

^^ this is the fix ^^
