esc question?

this probably a dumb question.....if an esc has a 35 turn motor limit would it work for a 100 turn motor??

Re: esc question?

Yes, it will work.

Just curious, what are you running a 100T motor in?

Re: esc question?

just to let you know the motor limit on the esc means it cant't handle anything under the limit it says. anything above is fine

Re: esc question?

With motors, the lower turn windings, the more amps the motor will draw to produce the same amount of torque. So a 35T motor will draw way more amps (and put more stress on your electronics) than a 55T or even a 100T would in the same bind or climbing the same obstacle.

This example assumes that you have the same number of poles in the motors.
