| help with FXr in my Axial
So I have a Axial Honcho all setup, and it was working GREAT. I have it running on a FXR with a brushed motor. The car was working GREAT. I parked it about a month ago after coming back from Tahoe, and it has been sitting since. Welll the other day I decided that I would start it back up and run aroud with it. The problem I had was that when I turned on the car, all the lights were blinking on the FXr. I had steering, but no throttle at all. I am running a Spectrum controller, and a 4000mah lipo. Any help would be appreciated. I want to get this car going again because I am heading up to Tahoe soon and want to play withit. Thanks Dima |

| I don't believe it will program without a radio signal. Do you have another radio to try it on??

The steering is working off the RX (radio receiver), correct. That does NOT mean the ESC is seeing a RX signal. It could also mean the RX channel is bad. You could try the steering servo in the throttle port, then use the TX trigger to see if the servo moves. If it does move, it will rule out a radio/RX issue. Make sure the plug from the ESC to RX has the black or brown wire towards the outside edge of the RX. |

Use the receiver from your Honcho in your Tahoe and see if everything works. If you have the same problem with the electronics in your Tahoe, then it is the receiver.

Impretty sure your fxr may be saying it's reached voltage cut off, try a freshly charged battery.

It will also blink if it does not detect the neutral signal that it is looking for. You have to recalibrate the ESC and I think that will solve your problem. Is your steering working? |

Did you zero out your radio system so you can calibrate the new set up? Fresh batteries in everything?

Just a thought... My FX-Rs need to have the motor connected too to fully start up and be ready to run. I don't know if this is your problem, but could be worth checking. Maybe try another motor?
