Default Heavy rig.

Ok guys, im in the process of building a pretty darn heavy rig. its a venom and its got the stock venom esc and 35t motor. I took itout for a little bash in the middle of the build and it wont move! haha. im running a 7.2v 6 cell. So i was wondering if i should get a lipo? a new esc? or a larger turn motor, like a 55t?

What is going to move my heavy rig with ease? whats the solution??
And if possible budget friendly ;)

Are you sure something is not in a bind? A 35 turn should move it unless the battery is dead or bad. what's the weight?

Did the motor run at all?
If not, does it run when the wheels are off the ground?
Is the ESC calibrated to the RX?

As to LiPO or not, volts are volts, it does not matter on what battery chemistry is used to make the volts.

he might shave almost a pound off of the rig by switching to lipo tho....but yea, volts is volts

This may take some time

So was the GOOD battery fully charged and would it work fine when you held it in the air?

Is there any binding ? (Does the tranny and axles move freely with the motor out?)

The calibration process should be in your manual. The creeper isnt super popular so most of us probably wont have any experience with it.

Spin the spur by hand, if it feels overly tight then you will need to figure out where the bind is. Disconnect the motor and driveshafts, that way you can spin the trans and the axles seperately to see what is locking up.

Thanks for all your input guys! It turns out that the aftermarket fly-sky radio system didn't set itself up correctly with the esc. So i put the stock radio back in, and boo ya!!! I feel like such a noob haha

You should be able to use the GT3B just fine, look in your manual and see how to calibrate the ESC to the radio. Also make sure the end point adjustment on the GT3B is maxed out on the throttle channel.
