| esc question
I was driving my creeper and it rolled and hit the top of the body on a rock and knocked the black wire loose. No eletronics got hit, just the black wire got loose. Its got a castle sv2 with a venom 55t motor on it. Ive checked everything and no luck. What to do |

What do you mean that the black wire got loose? From the ESC itself or from the bullet on the end or from the wire coming from the motor?

From the bullet on the end (just came unplugged). Ive hooked it up on castle.com and checked everything and no luck there. When I cut the esc on the green light blinks real fast and stearing works fine. Ive even tried recalibrating the esc, nothing.......

Whoa, easy there. You didn't really give a lot of information in your opening post. Like which wire...there's a few "black" ones. Also, no indication what exactly wasn't working. Providing more info will result in more informed responses... ...and save some tempers. |

1-What is an "escape"?? I'm assuming you have an "auto correct" and it's messing with you. 2-RTFM (sorta like, read the manual).... link.... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products , sounds like the LVC is killing the ESC (or, is that "escape"??) Now, do you want help, or not??

I know its probably something simple but I can't pin point it. What do you think the green light would be flashing fast for when I cut the esc on?

first off you need to understand were not getting paid to answer your questions so don't give us any lip. The best way to get help is to provide us with as much info as possible. Pics and video are awesome.its like calling a computer help desk and saying my computers broken, ok sir what's wrong with it? I don't know its just broke, fix it Mr computer man! With that being said, sounds like you just lost your programming. the green light flashing means you just lost your signal. You need to reprogram your esc, you don't even have to change anything just plug it up on your pc and reload the settings. I'm going to assume your using a sensored setup, this happens mostly on my sensored setups although I have had it happen to non sensored ones. So again, I would reprogram via pc, rebind TX to rx then reprogram TX to esc and you should be golden. let us know. LIK |
