Default Quick help! Hitec servo 5995tg

I will be using a Futaba 4pl radio. Can this radio handle this hitec servo 5995tg robot servo 180 degree rotation? Something about epa adjustments needed. They are $50 off right now.

Yes it can, you will need to adjust accordingly though.

Please do tell where they are 50% off!

Usually it's NOT the radio, you may need the HiTec programmer to gain more servo travel.

You can lengthen the servo movement (longer arm/horn) or shorten the knuckle mount (may get closer to "0" ackerman).

Neither of these need to reprogram the servo.

I "believe" that you need a "79xx" servo to use the HiTec programmer for servo throw.

Grab them fast!! I ordered one, and posted on the SCRC Forum about the deal, and those guys are grabbing them as well. I use a 5990 in my 1.9 Losi and love it....Could not pass up one of the 5995's.

Just so you know it's 5995tg not 5955 servo.

I was more concern about to much steering not enough. I just want to be able to get a good deal on a high torque servo that I could use. I did order one.

Most decent radios have EPA's on the steering channel, thus yes, you can dial the servo swing back some.

Not correct.....The 59xx are 180 degree adjustable with the programmer as well.
